Alexis Anosike is a senior at Howard University's Chadwick Boseman College of Fine Arts, pursuing a BFA in Acting. She is from New Jersey by way of Nigeria. Alexis is passionate about exploring a wide range of characters and genres in both film and theater, aiming to inspire audiences through each role. She is also interested in voiceover and directing, eager to make her mark in the industry. Her recent performances include Emilia in Gospel of Othello; Black Female Scholar, Slaveologist, and Bessie in EMERGENCY; Venus Hottentot and The Girl in a staged reading of VENUS; and Galadriel in You're Cosplaying My Song. Her skills include suzuki, running, bicycle riding, belly dancing, poetry, spoken word, and dialects: Nigerian, Ghanaian, Standard British, and Southern accents. Alexis is an alumna of the Midsummer in Oxford Program and the Black British Theatre Program.
